Crossbow bolt found lodged in Orléans home was fired at coyote, police say

Ottawa police say they've solved a mystery surrounding a crossbow bolt that was found lodged in the back of a home in Orléans after a person came forward weeks later to admit they'd shot it at a coyote and missed.
Durham regional police said the pilot had left at about 8:30 a.m. Friday and was expected back about an hour later. When he did not arrive, a search began.

Police say the incident occurred on June 13 between 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. at a building located at 51 Adair Ave. S. in Hamilton.
