Family rallies behind Sask. teen, the lone survivor in crash that killed his grandparents and mother

On July 20, Alfred Pratt was one of four people in an SUV that crashed on Highway 1 near Piapot, in southwest Saskatchewan, and is the only one who came out of it alive. The crash killed his mother, Carol, 49, and both of his grandparents — Judy, 72, and Jim, 75 — all of Estevan.

Chilliwack RCMP said that on Aug. 10, just before 2 p.m., the RCMP Underwater Recovery Team found the girl's body and the investigation has been turned over.
