Morning Update: Burnout is pushing emergency room doctors to leave

Good morning. A new study highlights an epidemic of burnout among Canada’s emergency room physicians. More on that below, along with the deadly Berlin Pride festival attack and massive wildfire evacuations in France.
Sunscreen is key to protecting yourself from sunburns, skin cancer and visible skin aging, but it isn’t a one-and-done process. Health Canada advises using a broad-spectrum sunscreen with a minimum SPF (sun protection factor) of 30 at least 15 minutes before going outside and reapplying every two hours during sun exposure. While that’s a good general rule of thumb, there are other factors to take into consideration. So, how often should you be reapplying throughout the day?
