B.C. water park begins reopening after June electrical incident that sent 12 children to hospital

After 12 children were injured in June by an electrical shock at Cultus Lake Waterpark, the park has begun a phased reopening starting July 29, following a six-week closure for safety investigations.

The incident happened on Friday around 12:30 p.m. in the area of Coronation Road and Lyndebrook Road in Whitby, police said.
