Alberta to review emergency alert system following multi-week search for Calgary boy

After a multi-week search in July for Parker, an 11-year-old Calgary boy, ended after he was confirmed dead, the provincial government is assessing whether improvements are needed to its emergency alert system.

RCMP say officers received a report about the collision at about 9:45 p.m. Friday. They're appealing for witnesses and anyone who was in the area to contact them.
