A severe thunderstorm on Monday afternoon delivered heavy rain and a brief Tornado Warning to Canada’s Capital. According to Environment Canada, 23.5 millimetres of rain was recorded at the Ottawa Airport. And while it wasn’t nearly as insane as what we saw on Canada Day, it still affected many residents and it put flooded-affected areas on edge. Does our city have a stormwater infrastructure problem?
