A severe thunderstorm on Monday afternoon delivered heavy rain and a brief Tornado Warning to Canada’s Capital. According to Environment Canada, 23.5 millimetres of rain was recorded at the Ottawa Airport. And while it wasn’t nearly as insane as what we saw on Canada Day, it still affected many residents and it put flooded-affected areas on edge. Does our city have a stormwater infrastructure problem? Has this transformed into an election issue as we head into October? Kristy Cameron sifts through the CFRA textboard and tackles today’s Question of the Day. Meantime, if you live in Alta Vista, and you look overhead, you might notice something flying in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Nope!
