Quebec man who murdered 6 people dies in Saskatoon prison

Steeve Racine, 62, had been serving a life sentence since Aug. 30, 1991, and died Aug. 7 at the Regional Psychiatric Centre in Saskatoon.

A total of 33 people were taken to hospital with varying injuries. Police said one person was taken by air ambulance to a trauma centre with serious injuries.

OTTAWA — Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne will announce an extension of the gas tax holiday until the end of January, according to a government source.
