Feds tell provinces to get ready to put American booze back on the shelves: sources

The federal government has told the provinces to be ready as soon as possible to put American alcohol back on the shelves in case a tariff deal is reached before U.S. President Donald Trump's latest tariff deadline, according to sources. They also said the federal government doesn't believe a deal is imminent.
After more than a week, some Summerland residents are finally walking back through their front doors.

So far, the premier is reluctant to make any concessions such as returning U.S. alcohol to B.C. shelves without tariff relief for key industries such as forestry.
