Ukrainian artist to perform soul music album in Ottawa area

It's being called Ukrainian soul — a mix of ancient folk songs, jazz and funk. Artist Nastasia Y is bringing that sound to Chelsea, Que., on Saturday, but behind the grooves is a much heavier story. Her latest album is filled with protest, grief and hope as Russia’s war in Ukraine continues. The CBC's Rachelle Elsiufi caught up with the artist.

A new national survey has found that 63 per cent of Canadians describe health care in their province as being in a state of crisis, while 55 per cent believe the system has gotten worse over the past five years.
