Furthermore, he argues that City Hall budget reviews promised by present-day Mayor Mark Sutcliffe in 2022 were not substantial. The meeting comes as Canada prepares to impose retaliatory tariffs on a wide range of U.S. goods on Sept. 8 in response to President Donald Trump's own 50 per cent tariffs.
