Stittsville flea market to close after more than 5 decades

Stittsville's Carp Road Flea Market will close at the end of October after more than 50 years selling antiques and collectibles. Vendors and shoppers say the closure will leave a significant gap in the local second-hand market.
Barton will serve as chair for a three-year term on a part-time basis and outgoing chair Karl Tabbakh will remain on the board of Invest in Canada to support the transition.
