Hour 2 of Ottawa Now for Fri. July 24th, 2026
July 24, 2026
The City of Ottawa will launch a new ad campaign later this Summer to encourage federal public servants to spend more time in the Downtown Core. That is, once their work hours are done for the day. It’s an effort to help alleviate pressure on OC Transpo buses and the O-Train fleet, as well as Ottawa’s roadways. Kristy Cameron checks in with Nathan Prier, the President of the Canadian Association of Professional Employees. On a totally different note, if you’re looking to check out the latest theatrical releases, Matt Demers has got you covered with his Weekly Movie Picks! That’s on the way in Hour 2.
The "Eve of Toronto" has a followup. And it's providing plenty of colour on the wall in Blue Jays manager John Schneider's office.
