Trump tariffs force iconic Montreal deli to ditch soda staple for locally-made cola

While the smoked meat sandwich is what made Schwartz's Deli arguably Montreal's most famous restaurant, regulars know the traditional refreshment to grab with that order is a can of Cott's black cherry soda — a can the restaurant can no longer obtain due to new tariffs.
Fort Good Hope, N.W.T., resident Chloe Dixon was diagnosed with a soft-tissue sarcoma in the summer of last year. While treatment for cancers like hers can impact a person's fertility, a relatively new procedure in Canada is giving Chloe the choice of having children in the future.
