Report: Saquon Barkley agrees to one-year contract with Giants

After considering holding out for the entire season, two-time Pro Bowl RB Saquon Barkley will be in attendance as training camp opens this week.

Ontario is examining legislation that would allow special constables to arrest and ticket drug users. Today, Ottawa City Council has voted 17-7 to endorse that legislation. It would also expand present-day enforcement powers to OC Transpo special constables, who would be able to arrest and fine people using drugs on public transit. The motion was moved by Rideau-Vanier councillor Stéphanie Plante. She joins Kristy Cameron on today’s Ottawa Now.
