Speaking out against war and destruction

On Friday, 10 October 2014, I interviewed Paul Maillet, on my co-hosted radio show, A LUTA CONTINUA, broadcast on CKCU Radio 93.1 FM in the Ottawa area.

Paul is a strong advocate for human rights and social responsibility. He has worked in the field of organizational ethics since 1997 and is the director of the PAUL MAILLET CENTER FOR ETHICS, a company that specializes in applications of governance and business and public sector ethics.

Paul has done extensive ethics project work involving controlling wrongdoing and corruption, and ethics and values for numerous Canadian federal departments, First Nations communities, and on international projects, currently in Tanzania. Paul is also an accredited Peace Professional from the Civilian Peace Services Canada.

I asked him how he thinks the conflict in Iraq and Syria should be tackled. Does he agree with the strategy of PM Harper? Are there better ways? And, what are the risks for ordinary Canadians.
