Nearly 85K people homeless in Ontario, up 8% in 1 year: report

Homelessness is getting worse across Ontario with an estimated 85,000 people who were without a home in 2025, a new report from Ontario's municipalities shows.

The report examined a crash of a Bell Textron 206L-4 that experienced a hard landing in July 2025 west of Red Deer during a private flight with the pilot and a passenger on board.
