My wife and I finally got around to go and see Retro at the Museum of History in Ottawa. I say Ottawa because it might as well have been held in Laflèche, Sask. or Richibucto, N.B., given that this 60’s, 70’s & 80’s music trip had almost no mention of Ottawa, the city so rich in musical history that it attracted international stars for as long as there were “draveurs” on la rivière des Outaouais. The Alberta government says it is ordering a fatality inquiry into the death of a man who died after spending eight hours in an Edmonton emergency room. Matt Jones, Minister of Hospital and Surgical Health Services, said Thursday a provincial judge will clarify the circumstances surrounding the death of Prashant Sreekumar, a 44-year-old father of three who died on Dec. 22 at Grey Nuns Community Hospital. The judge will issue findings publicly and could provide recommendations.
