Ottawa Now - Carleton student's critique of OC Transpo wait times goes viral on Instagram

February 10, 2026

Atisa Khalaj, who is studying Journalism and Political Science at Carleton University, has spent many hours waiting in the frigid cold, only for her bus to no-show. One day, she reached her breaking point, and vented her frustrations on Instagram. Since then, it's gone viral on the Meta-based platform. She joins Kristy Cameron on today's Ottawa Now.
