Hi, I'm a retired teacher, math&science grades 5 and 6. That was a great article! It describes my 35 and a half years of teaching to a "t". Your article explains what it's realy like to be an upper elementary teacher. At the end of the day, I'd be mentally exhausted and start again the next day. I'm sure you will do well! PS: Those who can, teach and those who can't find less meaningful things to do.
