Lansdowne wasn't even on the radar in 2022 Ottawa municipal election

Rebalance your approach

Lansdowne is simply not a priority

I ran for council in 2022. I know that spending $500 million on Lansdowne was not a priority of any candidate for mayor or council. Yet, here we are, a year later and this non-priority is taking up bandwidth as if our lives depended on it. Make no mistake there were emergencies declared by the City of Ottawa for affordable housing and climate change. But, not for Lansdowne.

It is infuriating watching this all unfold. In Ottawa people talk a good game about affordable housing but in reality people are now showing their real priority and it is for wealthier, beer drinking sports fans with their own vehicles.

The strong-mayor, Mark Sutcliffe, must take responsibility for this so called "balanced approach", for it is anything but balanced.
