Let's hope not. This time nuclear weapons are in play. Which is why I think we need to do more to slow Putin's advance and grind it to a halt. The further he gets now, the more emboldened he'll be. Ukraine needs to negotiate a ceasefire that includes succeeding some territory but obviously not the capital nor Odessa. The two cities Putin covets most.
Agreed. Today's response from the EU not to fast track Ukraine's membership is so incredibly weak, it's really disheartening. Peace time leaders make poor war time leaders.
Thanks for the feedback. We try to ask questions that aren't an obvious yes or no answer. We chose this subject because O'Toole was removed by his caucus and now the party is leaderless. But, undoubtably we'll be asking the same question of the Liberals by the end of the year.
