The emergency call bell system in Chelsey Park Long Term Care's independent living building has been disconnected since October 2025, leaving residents without a way to get help quickly. In a memo to residents, the care home recommended people buy their own cell phones or personal alarm systems instead.
New renders released by the provincial government on Thursday show that replacement trains and cars on Toronto's Line 2 will be bright red, with black and white detailing.
