As ICE continues to crack down in the United States, with the events in Minneapolis generating the most attention, we are learning of alleged ICE field offices in Canada. In a letter to Prime Minister Carney last week, the MP for Edmonton-Strathcona is calling on the feds to shut down those offices until the ‘human rights crisis’ is resolved. We dig deeper in Hour 1 with Kelly Sundberg, who previously worked with the CBSA for 15 years. Nowadays, he is a Professor of Criminology in the Department of Justice and Policy Studies at Mount Royal University, specializing in migration and border security. Meantime, residents in various sections of Quebec’s Pontiac region have been dealing with an increase in power outages this Winter. CTV’s Dylan Dyson has more on that.
