Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand says the government is looking at getting Canadians out of the Middle East, including asking the United Arab Emirates to use its airspace for chartered evacuation flights.

Dillon Lee and Lara Jamieson helped rescue a pig that had escaped from a pickup truck as it travelled last Saturday on the 417 at Carling. The pair, and the pig's owner, were eventually able to load the animal into a proper trailer.
