The Manitoba government is planning to scrap the PST on all groceries, as announced earlier today by Premier Wab Kinew. Here in Ontario, it's a bit of a different story. Most basic groceries – fruits, vegetables, and canned beans – are already exempt from Ontario’s provincial HST.
