The building that once housed Yangtze Restaurant in Ottawa’s Chinatown neighbourhood remains empty, as the property owner continues to search high and low for a new tenant. Yangtze permanently shuttered its doors in 2024 and the building has been dead-silent ever since. It comes as the Somerset Chinatown BIA issues an urgent call, with the neighbourhood in desperate need of an anchor business to host big events.
