O-Train Lines 2 and 4 closed June 13 and 14 for planned maintenance

June 8, 2026
O-Train service on Lines 2 and 4 will be fully closed and replaced by R2 and Route 105 bus service on the weekend of June 13 and 14.

O-Train Lines 2 and 4 will be fully closed for maintenance on Saturday, June 13 and Sunday, June 14, and replacement bus service will operate.

For customers, this means that on June 13 and 14:

  • Train service will not operate on Lines 2 and 4.
  • R2 bus service will operate between Bayview and Limebank stations at a frequency of approximately every 12 minutes to ensure customers can complete their journeys.
  • Route 105 service will replace Line 4 service, with supplemental buses added to provide service approximately every 15 minutes.
  • OC Transpo staff will be present at key locations to assist customers.

During the planned closure, crews will undertake several maintenance activities to ensure that the rail system continues to operate smoothly and safely for customers. Maintenance activities include an end-to-end track inspection and work within the Dow’s Lake Station tunnel, which requires a full closure of the lines. The work has been scheduled for a weekend when ridership is lower, to minimize the disruption for customers.
