Diarrhea-causing parasite that led to an outbreak in U.S. has not spread to Canada, PHAC says

The Public Health Agency of Canada says the outbreak of a diarrhea-causing parasite that has infected more than 1,200 people in Michigan has not spread to Canada based on current information.
First Nations chiefs from across Canada are calling on the federal and provincial governments to protect treaty rights from, what they say are, threats posed by Alberta separatism.
