What would help health care in the N.W.T.'s Dehcho? Residents say it’s about relationships

A recent set of recommendations on improving health care in the region focuses on staffing and equipment but what matters most, some residents say, is relationships. The recommendations follow a months-long investigation into the deaths of three Dehcho residents in early 2025.
According to the report, Calgary must build between 23,000 and 24,000 total new housing starts annually over the next 10 years to close the gap.
