Since 2012, she has been awakened by the Moral and National Education controversy in Hong Kong, and realized that Hong Kong has been going downhill for so many years since the handover in 1997. After the Umbrella Movement in 2014, it has encouraged her to do a lot more than just supporting Hong Kong, but actually involved in different initiatives raising awareness of the situation of Hong Kong.

Hong Kong's 'Love in the Time of Revolution' reveals the people behind the Umbrella Revolution

November 29, 2022
Love in the time of Revolution film premiere's in Toronto on December 11th, 2022

I finally had a chance to watch Love in the Time of Revolution last night. I really, really like this movie. Not only did it record the political history leading to the whole #antiELAB movement, even the documentary on events during 2019-2021, there are many notes added to make sure non-Hong Konger's know what was going on and why it happened. Including the environment of Hong Kong over the years and main historical events were mentioned.

This is definitely a movie for people who have only heard snip-its about what happened. And, it's a good reminder to those who were protesting at that time. I highly recommend it!

Don't miss this 1-time showing in Toronto. Please join us on Human Rights Day weekend in Toronto on December 11th, at the Royal Cinema, 608 College Street.
