Unless it’s not the same. Carney is really a Red Tory. But they don’t have a party any more and they will never vote for a rightwing extremist so now he’s running as a Liberal. But he’s not a politician and he’s not Trudeau, so it’s not the same. Not even close.
I voted: Liberal Party of CanadaGood fortune has Mark Carney running in my riding of Nepean. I have thought for a long time that he would make a great Liberal PM. He knows his stuff. We need someone who can outsmart Trump, not capitulate for the oil industry’s benefit.
Great post. Very good question. It would certainly send a message to the Americans.
The same guy who sold us Free-Trade with the US, the very thing that has made us vulnerable to attack by Donald Trump? I like most of your ideas, but not this one. I don’t want to see Canada at 50 Million let alone 100 Million. It’s not required to succeed. Switzerland proved it a long time ago.
