Monday might have been Groundhog Day, but it was a large emu that was stealing the show in Almonte. Residents on Jamieson Street were stunned to see a massive bird walking around the neighbourhood, who had managed to escape his nearby enclosure. Kristy Cameron chats with Tracy Foley, a Canine Coordinator at Gagne Homestead and Rescue. She safely caught Enzo the Emu and brought him back home.

Last Monday, on a snow-filled Highway 401, 27-year-old Brittany Savage found herself in the middle of a terrifying car crash. The mother of two young children was driving from Brockville to Mallorytown when a transport truck crossed the median and struck her vehicle.
