There’s a popular notion that Summer is the time of year where most people disconnect and chill. It’s definitely not as bleak, or as isolating, as the Winter months can be. However, this season can bring its own unique pressures. From holidays to weddings, there’s more pressure on your bank account. That means your calendar is busier, and there’s more people to see. Perhaps you might be more inclined to take on projects around the house, and those expenses can add up pretty quickly. How do you navigate that mounting pressure to be present, but also the pressure on your pocketbook? Chief Helen Paavola was on a plane to Ottawa when the fire reached her community.
