The Foresight of Unpublished Media: Predicting The Future

March 28, 2026

In a world where the news cycle moves faster than ever, Unpublished Media contributors don't just keep you informed - we keep you ahead of the curve.

Reporting on the aftermath of a story is easy, but the commentators at Ottawa’s Unpublished Media specialize in foresight. Months before legacy media outlets pick up a narrative or splash it across the front page, our commentators have already called it. We don’t just follow the headlines; we get there first, maintaining a track record of predicting events before they unfold.

Infrastructure, Energy, and the North

Our insights into Canada’s industrial future began well before the current shifts. On November 16, 2024, we correctly pointed out that Canada would move to build a hydroelectric, nuclear, and wind-powered national grid. We argued then that the federal government "must exercise its constitutional authority to invest in critical infrastructure and modernize our provincial power grids." Today, in 2026, we see the provinces and the feds working in tandem to make this very grid a reality. https://unpublished.ca/opinion/national-hydro-electric-and-nuclear-energ...

Similarly, we nailed the Hudson Bay Energy Export Terminal on November 29, 2024 - a project that both Manitoba Premier Wab Kinew and Prime Minister Mark Carney have since approved. At the time, we noted: “Hudson Bay offers a unique geographic advantage. With an average depth of 330 feet, it can accommodate large tanker ships.” https://unpublished.ca/opinion/the-hudson-bay-solution-a-new-path-for-ca...

Sovereignty and the American Influence

Our track record extends to the highest levels of Canadian leadership, and our complex relationship with the U.S. On October 23, 2024, we predicted that Justin Trudeau would step down, well before the transition to the Carney government became official in 2025. https://unpublished.ca/opinion/trudeau-will-be-stepping-down-after-a-dec...

We also saw the shifting winds within the Opposition. On February 7, 2025, we forecasted that Pierre Poilievre would eventually pivot away from Trump: “For the Conservatives, it might be time to retire the MAGA hats once and for all... many Canadians view the current direction of Conservatives with discomfort, even distaste.” https://unpublished.ca/opinion/poilievres-trump-problem

This move toward independence was mirrored in our prediction regarding the U.S. seizure of the Venezuelan oil industry. On December 27, 2024, we wrote that such a deal would be used to destabilize Canada, explaining why American insiders were using "disrespectful language like '51st state.'" https://unpublished.ca/opinion/canada-and-trumps-51st-state

Defense, Science, and Clandestine Interests

Most tellingly, on March 14, 2025, we correctly guessed that Canada would re-evaluate the F-35 in favor of the Saab Gripen E. We called it a "declaration of independence," asking: “Why pour billions into imports from a wavering ally when we can invest in our own capabilities?”  Now, with 2026 talks underway to manufacture the Gripen in Halifax, the "Arrow II" legacy is finally being revived. https://unpublished.ca/opinion/arrow-ii-canada%E2%80%99s-gripen-revoluti...

Our gaze even reached the stars. On March 27, 2025, we predicted Canada’s move toward sovereign rocket launch facilities. As confirmed in March 2026, this represents a “decisive pivot eastward - leveraging shared intelligence and security-gathering satellites.”  https://unpublished.ca/opinion/canada-breaks-away-from-conservatives-and...

Beyond policy, we have also provided the most in-depth analysis of the "clandestine" forces at play. On February 26, 2025, we explored the “Disappearance of Physicists” - long before it became front-page news in March 2026. We described the trend as a stark reminder of the consequences faced by those who challenge accepted scientific boundaries, especially where they intersect with powerful military and fossil fuel interests. https://unpublished.ca/opinion/disappearance-of-physicists

This followed our groundbreaking work on Jeffrey Epstein’s “Kill Switch”, where we provided an unparalleled look into the mechanisms of blackmail and power that continue to ripple through the global elite today. https://unpublished.ca/opinion/jeffrey-epsteins-kill-switch

Unpublished Media’s objective has always been to help Canadians influence public policy. One of the ways in which we do it is to help government and media connect the dots.
