They probably wouldn't but since Ottawa is the National Capital, we could effectively achieve the same result by making Ottawa-Gatineau, inside the Greenbelt, a Capital District like Washington D.C.
Yes, we’ve decided we don’t want whining little shits threatening the nation any more. If you think Alberta is more important than Canada, then pack your bags…
Pandemics need to be handled by the feds not provinces. New federal legislation is required to ensure all Canadians receive the same levels of healthcare during pandemics, to counter bullshit like this. .Alternative science will lead to death because it’s not real science. I pitty the normal, educated people who live in Alberta bc they are surrounded by Christian fuckups forcing their religious beliefs into public policy. People I consider to be anti-Christian and frankly, anti-Canadian. Very sad.
Let’s not kid ourselves, they were bought off. Ottawa City Council is comprised of the weak of mind and heart. The only way Ottawa will return to democracy is to get rid of the rural component that was forced into the city during amalgamation. They don’t want to be here and we don’t want them. De-Amalgamation is the answer. The fastest way to get it in Ottawa is to turn Ottawa-Gatineau into a Capital District inside the Greenbelts.
