I voted: The Freedom Convoy and use of Emergencies Act
During the Freedom convoy Canadians just wanted to voice their opinion and be heard. Our government on the other hand called us down and sent in the police to stop the people who were mostly non-violent. They hurt people with the act of horses trampling an on-looker, they froze bank accounts and arrested convoy organizers and held them in jail for long duration before allowing them bail. The Canadian People's rights were violated and unconstitutional in my opinion. For that reason I am asking you as a Canadian and as human being to re-look at the crimes committed by our government against the people when they are supposed to be working for and with the people who put them in to govern our country. This also should include any mp who has been assigned by the people to support the people, such as yourself (my MP). It is my hope that you will seriously consider the consequences that has taken hold here and know the adverse affect it has had on the Canadian people.
I voted: OtherAs seniors, the biggest story is how we as 75 year old people have been impacted by inflation. We saved our whole lives, paid our way, put money aside, and now have trouble making ends meet. We see younger travelling to Mexico, Hawaii, Australia for vacations, but how does that happen? Is our society geared towards perpetual inflation?? spend spend continuously and just keep getting more wages year after year??? How about us old folks who don’t get any increases, yet everything keeps going up and up.
